For this project we had to do a complete check of a Reineveld basket for one of our customers and replace the main shaft.

Project scope:

• Disassamble the basket from the centrifuge

• Transport the basket to our facility in Denekamp

• Glass power shot blast the basket

• Visual inspect the basket

• Liquid penetrant examine the basket

• X-ray the basket

• Balance the basket according G2.5 ISO1940

• Machine a new main shaft

• Do a final cone check between basket bushing and new shaft

• Finalize our findings in a inspection report

• Assemble the basket, new shaft and bearings
